About
As a technology consultant I am mostly based out of Toronto, Canada. My schooling has been out of Toronto as well with a Commerce Degree in IT Management accompanied with an Ecommerce minor and followed by a Certificate in Project Management.
My career has been in managing various projects in information technology, information security, and process improvements.
A significant portion of my experience was attained in developing an information security company in which I sold my ownership stake in 2009. My process experience was gained by consulting within Canada and the US, in the area of process improvements. However, more recently I act in a project or program management capacity in which I have helped companies launch unique projects or assisted to ensure proper operational performance.
Understanding both business objectives and aspects and technology complexities within IT initiative in my unique skill set which has allowed me to deliver quality work, on time, and on budget. Below are some examples:
Achievements
- Architected and Project Managed the build of a custom CMS (Content Management System) with a multi-level access administration control panel. This site was sponsored by the Government of Canada through the New Horizon for Seniors Program. The site, Senior's Group Network, amalgamates senior's activities of the various senior's groups in Toronto
- The process mapping of services to be repatriated by Enbridge from third party providers and identify areas to develop internally to ensure a smooth transition at Go-live.
- Project Managed the development of a new web radio player for Rogers' Radio. Here's a sample cross-section of the stations from Toronto in the three different formats of Music (KISS 92.5), News (680 AM), and Sports (Fan 590)
- Project Managed a national roll-out for over 50 of Rogers' Radio stations including the coordination of supporting software and hardware. View station list here
- Project Managed and Architected the integration of PayPal into some of the most used online software for developing websites (Easy Site Wizard Pro) and ecommerce (Easy Store Maker Pro) solutions. These softwares are offered by the largest Telecom hosting companies around the world.
- Integration of sister companies services and offerings to align in the parent company's sales channel. Covering all aspects from technology integration, customer sales flow from purchase to support, and revenue sharing controls.
- Improved operations performance by working in tandem with management in implementing method changes to business processes in order to improve efficiencies.
- Principal for all deliverables including Policy creation, reverse engineering, information security response, penetration test, and vulnerability assessments for Reliable Security Solutions clients. After developing a base of projects, I sold my ownership stake in the company in 2009
- Client owner for Fortune 100 companies and leaders in entertainment, computer chip, and office product industries. Reported to senior level security employees on any suspicious log behaviors and security threats within their environment accompanied with recommendations.
